PARENT WORKSHOP & DIALOUGE Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 8:15AM to 12 noon -- Sistermoms is co-sponsoring a Parent Workshop & Dialouge with The Peoples Community Baptist Church and the National Council of Negro Women. The workshop will promote a dialouge among parents of children in pre-school through 12th grade on how to raise successful, productive African-American males and female in a public or private educational setting. Guest speakers include: Dr. Angelicque Tucker Blackmon, innovative educator, entrepreneur, scientist, expert on cultural relevance in education, professor and mother of 3; Dr. Lucille Ellis, former administrator and educator for Montgomery County Public Schools, Jeffery Johnson, Ph.D., President & CEO, National Partnership for Community Leadership; and Clarence Kennedy, 100 Black Men of Greater Washington.
